Η γερμανική after shave λοσιόν Speick προσφέρει μια εξαίρετη αίσθηση δροσιάς αμέσως μετά το ξύρισμα.

Περιέχει οινόπνευμα, φυσικό ανόργανο alum (στυπτηρία, θειϊκό αργιλιοκάλιο) και αποστάγματα βοτάνων, με προεξάρχον το βότανο Speick.

Χρήση Ανακουφίζει ακαριαία το πρόσωπο από το φλόγισμα του ξυραφιού, απολυμαίνει, δροσίζει και ενυδατώνει ελαφρά. Για περαιτέρω ενυδάτωση και περιποίηση, θα χρησιμοποιήσετε μια βαλσαμική κρέμα ή τζελ. Αλλά η πρώτη ενέργειά σας μετά το ξύρισμα αξίζει να είναι το splash με μια κλασική, φυσική λοσιόν σαν τη Speick.

Άρωμα Λεπτό, διακριτικό, δεν διαρκεί πολύ. Δεν θα επηρεάσει την κολώνια ή το eau de toilette που θα φορέσετε αργότερα.

Πού Στη Γερμανία το βρίσκετε παντού. Δυσεύρετο στην ελληνική αγορά. Το βρίσκετε σε καταστήματα βιολογικών, μαζί με άλλα προϊόντα Speick (κρέμα και σπαούνι ξυρίσματος, αποσμητικό κ.λπ.).Λ.Τ. περ. 12,50 ευρώ.

A pleasure to lather

One of the easiest soaps to lather with, no matter the brush in use.It gives rich lather, moisturizing enough, although not so lubricating as tallow-based soaps.

Ideal for superlather, if combined with shaving cream.

Fine, “short” scent, that doesn’t interfere with AS splash or cologne.Very good value for money and an excellent soap either for the newbie or the experienced user.

Scent

Best Citrus / Lime genre scent I’ve tried so far.
Taylor’s Lemon & Lime is sweetish, not really a citrone scent.
Salter is superior to Trumper’s Lime and C. Tyrwhitt Lime (obsolete by now?) too.
Haven’t tried Castle Forbes Lime and AOS Lemon though.

Texture

Rich in oils and glycerine. Soft. Light. A joy to use.

Lather

It makes very easily a rich lather.Lather is thick, doesn’t get dried.

Efficacy – Price

It’s not so dense, so you spend some more. But at £10 or less for a huge 200 ml pot, that’s not an issue at all.It seems to last for hundreds of shaves.

Packaging

Simple plastic pot, yet chic in navy blue color.

Bottom line

If you love citrus / lime scents, not sweet, but fresh and a bit sour, that cream is for you. It is for me.

PROCEDURE

Soaked in hot water for a couple of minutes.Let it drain, but not drip.
Swirled on Roger et Gallet soap approx. 20 times.
Lathering in inox bowl with a spoonful of hot water. Working well for 1 minute or so.
Painting on face. The brush is warm and soft, loaded with lather!

ΔΙΑΔΙΚΑΣΙΑ

Μουσκέψτε το πινέλο σε ζεστό νερό για 2-3 λεπτά. Ακόμη καλύτερα: Αφήστε το σε ζεστό νερό, στον νιπτήρα ή σε ένα μπολ, όσο κάνετε ντους. Το ζεστό ντους προετοιμάζει τα γένια για το ξύρισμα.

Τινάξτε το να φύγει το πολύ νερό. Να μη στάζει καθόλου.Φορτώστε το πινέλο με σαπούνι, περιστρέφοντας το κυκλικά και πιέζοντας αρκετά. 15-20 “στροφές” θα είναι αρκετές.Τώρα δουλέψτε το πινέλο σε ένα μπολ με ελάχιστο νερό, να κάνετε αφρό. Ο αφρός δεν πρέπει να είναι αραιός ή να περιέχει φουσκάλες. Προσθέτετε νερό σταδιακά, μερικές σταγόνες κάθε φορά. Οταν είναι έτοιμος, θα είναι πηχτός και κρεμώδης, θα σκεπάζει όλο το πινέλο.

Δουλέψτε τον αφρό στο πρόσωπό σας, με το πινέλο. με κυκλικές κινήσεις κάνετε “μασάζ”, να μαλακώσουν τα γένια. Κάνετε και μερικές “ζωγραφικές” πινελιές για να “σκεπαστεί” όλο το πρόσωπο με κρεμώδη αφρό.

VERDICT
A genuive surprise. Omega 48 is a joy to use with soaps. I used Proraso “soft” soap, and Roger & Gallet hard (three milled) soap. With both soaps Omega produced a lot of thick lather easily.
Price
For 8.50 euros it’s a steal.
Quality
Simply packaged. Handle is plastic: Chromed ABS handle. It seems well made.
Density
Good. You can’t compare the boar to badger. It’s of a different genre.
Stiffness of Tips
It gets MUCH more soft after soaked in hot water and lathering.
Ergonomics
Excellent. Long handle, long bristles. Like a painting brush, a real pennello!
Latherability
Excellent with soaps tested: Proraso, Roger & Gallet, Mitchell’s Wool Fat, Col. Conk Amber, SCS Mocha Creme.
